The Hub is a combined Youth Group, primarily for the Youth (Grades 7 – 12) of the Baptist Churches in the Hobart Region. It was started in 2006, as a continuation of collaborative efforts between Baptist churches in Hobart from the latter half of 2005. It was initiated by Leaders and Youth from Hobart, Taroona and Citywide Baptist churches, and now Claremont Baptist are also involved.
The Hub is run bimonthly, on Friday nights from 7:00 – 9:30, at various locations. The programme is an activities based, with a central theme and devotion. The idea of having it twice a month is partly to have the churches pick up the area of Bible Studies on the other weeks.
